The Romance of the Rose

The Rose is perhaps one of the most celebrated flowers in perfumery, and also in love.
As we head towards the end of January and look forward to celebrating love and friendship for St Valentine’s Day on 14th February, my thoughts and olfactory desires are shifting from the comforting woody notes of winter, to the more uplifting fragrant notes of the rose.
